How I believe
In this short synthesis Teilhard explains [to Bishop de Solages] the four points of his profession of faith:
“I believe that the universe is an evolution
I believe that the evolution is converging towards the spirit
I believe that the spirit ends in the personal
I believe that the supreme staff is the Universal Christ.
This explanation is intended to show how the credibility of Christianity, which was damaged in the
scientific representation of the world of the beginnings of science (the Newtonian), is naturally restored in the new evolutionary vision of the world and the most advanced data of the scientific knowledge.
