The Teilhard de Chardin Center of the Saclay plateau, in relation with the association of the friends of Teilhard de Chardin, invites you to an introductory conference to the thought of this 20th century Jesuit whose name has been retained for the building that will open in 2022.
As a scientist, Teilhard made a major contribution to geology and paleontology. As a thinker, his vision of the future is based on the theory of evolution. If we talk about him again in the 21st century, it is because his ideas resonate with our current situation (digital technology, ecology, social crises…) and give us hope in the face of current upheavals.
The objective of this conference is to give an introduction covering both his scientific contribution, his links with current events and his theological approach.
