The result of a collaboration between our Association and the Association Culturelle Marcel Légaut (ACML), this file presents the two men (life, main lines of their thought and spirituality). Then he presents their numerous meetings between 1924 and 1939 within the framework of the conferences that Teilhard gave to the normaliens and then to the Groupe Légaut, in the troubled period of anti-modernism, before questioning their possible mutual influences.
The modernist crisis is presented through the eyes of a historian, Dominique Lerch of the ACML.
The second edition has been corrected and enriched. Among other news, an article about two manuscripts discovered in Mirmande in 2018 in a file marked “Teilhard de Chardin”… An investigation was necessary to identify the anonymous author of one of them.
