In my last “Letter to Members”, we talked about our annual conference on October 13, 14 and 15, 2017 in Reims on the theme “Look the war in the face; see beyond it”, and we warned you of significant risk of accommodation shortage on October 14 because of the “Marathon de Reims”. Our president Hilaire GIRON has negotiated contracts from pre-bookings, until July 31 in three locations of Reims. Being moreover at
preferential rates
Don’t hesitate to book your accommodation at to be sure to register for this conference. Registration forms are being prepared and should be sent to you in late May or early June.
Colloquium in Reims from 13-15 October 2017 – Hotel booking procedures if you wish to take advantage of pre-booking at a discounted rate – DEADLINE July 31, 2017 –
The Association has negotiated pre-bookings for the 2 nights October 13/14 and 14/15, in three locations :
- Hotel B&B – Reims Centre Gare ** : 58 double rooms (double or twin beds) – Special rate corresponding to 11% discount : 49 € per room per night, Pdj 5 € per person, 0.90 € tourist tax. This hotel is located near the central train station of Reims, 1.2 km from the conference venue. You must book your room before July 31, with Mathilde at 01 42 84 13 71 then send a check made out to the Association for the total amount (chb+pt dej+tax) of your request. N

We will keep this cheque untouched until the date of the conference. During your stay, you will have toou will pay directly for your room at B&B and we will return your check to you.
- Hotel Mercure Reims-Centre-Cathédrale **** (500 m from the conference venue): 20 double rooms at the following preferential rate 159.50 € per night for two people in double room – Breakfast included – Tourist tax included. 142.50 € per night for one person in a double room – Pdj. included – Tourist tax included. a check in the name of the Association,
for the total amount (chb+pt déj+taxe) of your request.
For this hotel, we will be forced to cash this check on July 31 because we will have to pay 60% of all our reservations by that date.
- House Saint-Sixte (diocesan house, place of the conference) – 12 rooms at the following rate per night: four single rooms at 30 €, five double room at 40 €, triple room at 60 €. and two suites (a room with a double bed + an office room) at 60 €, Pdj at 5 €. You must book your room before July 31, with Mathilde at 01 42 84 13 71 then send
a check in the name of the Association
of the total amount (chb+pt dej+tax) of your request.

us conserve
We will keep this check untouched until the date of the conference. It will be cashed after the conference.
Cancellation conditions for these three places booked by us : Before July 31st,
any request made to our secretariat will be accepted and the check will be returned. Beyond July 31, we will have to keep your check, but we will give it back to you if another person buys your stay. In case of non replacement we will be forced to collect your check to pay for the reserved room.
