Our Association wishes to bear witness here to the passing of Michel ROCARD on July 2, 2016 and thus join in the grief of his family, friends and all those who saw in him a politician of exceptional quality through his intellectual honesty, his deep intelligence and his lucidity.
In the long interview he gave last year to our review ” Teilhard Aujourd’hui ” [n°54 de juin 2015] he was pleased to underline that he considered Teilhard as “a forerunner whose thought he had perfectly understood and who had put him on a track of which he had felt all the authenticity and the power of convergence”.
We will miss his courageous and original approach to the problems of our time.
