We would also like to inform you of the death of Father Eugenio Costa sj on January 17. The Friends of Teilhard have a moving memory of their meeting with him during the colloquium “Challenges of a renewed evangelization” organized at the Gregorian University in Rome in November 2012, a colloquium that had been the occasion of the blessing of the international group of Friends of Teilhard by Pope Benedict XVI in St. Peter’s Square. Father Costa was part of our WWT network. He had written to us, “Teilhard’s visionary thought is like an underground stream coming to light.”
