GLOBALIZATION spreads its web to the most remote places on the planet. The reactions to remain diverse and contradictory. It comes up against obstacles, leads to violence, and provokes resistance. But its march, far from slowing down, tends to accelerate. It uses all the means to make itself master of the field, since even the war in Iraq seems to allow it new developments. The anti-globalists become alter-globalists: a way of indicating that it is not possible, like Faust, to be inhabited by the spirit of the one who always says no. On the contrary, the task is to invent other ways, to look for new opportunities, to experiment with as yet unused methods.
