At the origin of this booklet is the mini-lecture that I was led to give, here, to a restricted group of people already working, more or less, on Teilhardian texts.
They wanted to know how, despite the Benedictine enclosure, I had discovered Father Teilhard de Chardin.
I wished to add to it what, little by little, appeared to me as essential basic elements to appreciate the vision, on our Universe in evolution, of a scientist and a believer, what our time has a real need.
This has determined two dissimilar parts of unequal interest – a personal testimony, among many others. – Very simple insights into Teilhard’s contribution to our generation. – To this is added on the last page a diagram in the form of a summary.
